WCLVnotes This Sun 10/1 at 3PM, WCLV 104.9 airs live, from Severance Hall, the opening concert of the 2006-2007 season. The "Best Band in the Land" and Franz Wesler-Moest, just returned from a fabulously successful European tour, and will play the Mozart Piano Concerto No. 17 with piano super star Leif Ove Andsnes and the Dvorak Symphony No. 5. Also, on Sunday afternoon, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra broadcasts return to the WCLV airwaves at 1PM. For decades WCLV has not only carried the Detroiters but has distributed the concerts to other stations throughout the country. Among the conductors scheduled during the season are Charles Dutoit, Sir Roger Norrington, James MacMillan, Mark Wigglesworth, Hugo Wolff, Nicolas McGegan, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Peter Oundjian, Itzhak Perlman and, of course, Neeme Järvi.
