Ingenuity Festival announces RFP for web site redesign
CLEVELAND, February 1, 2006 The Ingenuity Festival of Art and Technology has announced the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the redesign and upgrading of it's web site, http://www.IngenuityCleveland.com.
With it's cool robot, a slick map of the Festival Village, and one-stop shopping for events and tickets, the current Ingenuity web site has served the Festival well for its inaugural year and 2005 Festival. But now it is time to revamp and upgrade this formidable repository for the hundreds of special events to be presented at the upcoming 2006 Ingenuity Festival.
The upgraded Ingenuity web site will make it easier for patrons of Ingenuity to find and manipulate event and schedule data. Visitors will be able to more easily plan their trip to the Ingenuity Festival, purchase tickets and enjoy the spectacular arts, cultural and technology exhibits and performances at the 2006 Ingenuity Festival. Details and requirements for this upgrade project are outlined in the Request for Proposals.
The Request for Proposals is available on the front page of the Ingenuity web site at http://www.IngenuityCleveland.com. Professional web development firms are invited to review the RFP and submit a proposal by February 15, 2006. The web site upgrade project should be completed by April 15, 2006. Preference will be given to firms located in Northeast Ohio.
The Ingenuity Festival of Art and Technology is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to showcasing the finest in art and technology from Northeast Ohio. Support and funding is received from foundations, corporations and government sources. Current web site http://www.IngenuityCleveland.org was designed in 2005 for the first year of the new Ingenuity Festival of Art and Technology in Cleveland, Ohio. The inaugural Festival took place over Labor Day Weekend, 2005 in Downtown Cleveland and presented over 200 performances by over 1000 artists in 21 venues by over 80 arts and technology groups and teams. The second Festival will take place July 7-16, 2006 in Downtown Cleveland.
Proposals & correspondence should be directed to: Thomas Mulready, co-director Ingenuity Festival of Art and Technology, and sent to: Thomas@IngenuityCleveland.org.
