Diana Chittester came to Cleveland from Pennsylvania & hit the local music scene six years ago. Now she's moving to Portland, Oregon. But it's here that she established her musical career as one of the area's most dynamic and nuanced singers, guitar players, and songwriters. Cleveland has always loved its burgers and steaks. But recently, more of us have tried to eat a healthier, more varied diet. Cleveland City Council wants to encourage that. It passed a resolution this week urging people to celebrate "Meatless Monday" and praising those working to get us to eat our veggies.

* Some people think you shouldn't eat any meat at all. They include the producers of the new documentary Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, who say you're helping ruin the environment by not going vegan. The film has a single screening at the Cedar Lee this week, with Q&A afterward. Thu 8/28.
