Austin "Walkin Cane" Charanghat (pictured) is one of a couple of dozen mostly local blues and blues-influenced acts playing the Kent Blues Festival. Opening night features free music in venues all over downtown Kent all night. The second and final night stars veteran country blues performers John Hammond and Rory Block at the Kent Stage.
