To rockers who came of age listening to WMMS in its ’70s-’80s heyday, Murray Saul was an instantly recognizable icon. His "get down!" paeans to weekend fun, delivered in his frenetic, wildman style every Friday afternoon, made him a local star. Saul passed away this past Sunday after a short illness. He was 86.
