SPONSORED: Michael loves all kinds of sports and takes on just about any challenge. Though life hasn't always been easy for him, and he is in foster care, Michael still loves life. Consider becoming a mentor and giving Michael what he deserves—an adult in his life who cares about him.

Adoption Network Cleveland is working to recruit at least 50 new adult mentors for youth in foster care by the end of 2008. A mentor termed a “permanency champion” can help a youth transition to adulthood successfully, who might otherwise be alone in facing the prospect of aging out of foster care without a permanent family.

Adoption Network Cleveland’s Permanency Champion Program includes monthly outings as well as one-on-one interactions to discuss future goals and life challenges.
