SPONSORED: Leon seems to flow from one talent to another Every season marks a different sport for him to shine. Most don’t know about his strong intellect or the cartoon strips he’s created depicting friends he’s met along the way. Consider becoming a mentor and giving Leon what he deserves—an adult in his life who cares about him.

Adoption Network Cleveland is working to recruit at least 50 new adult mentors for youth in foster care by the end of 2008. A mentor termed a “permanency champion” can help a youth transition to adulthood successfully, who might otherwise be alone in facing the prospect of aging out of foster care without a permanent family.

Adoption Network Cleveland’s Permanency Champion Program includes monthly outings as well as one-on-one interactions to discuss future goals and life challenges.
