Andrew Light and the Ethics of Climate Change

Andrew Light has turned the study of philosophy into an engaging career advising The National Science Foundation, the U.S. Forest Service and the National Parks Service on environmental policy and climate change. His fascinating Humanities Week keynote on "Ethics and Climate Change" capped a busy two-day whirlwind organized by the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities with Poly Sci students, freshmen in the SAGES program (Seminar Approach to General Education and Scholarship), and a session with a Social and Political Philosophy class, in between signing books and engaging college scholars and a faculty sustainability group.
