Tom Schorgl saved the butts of Cleveland's arts groups. The cigarette tax his group Community Partnership for Arts & Culture (CPAC) helped pass is a major reason Cuyahoga County, if it were a state, would be the 3rd best-funded state in the country.

CPAC recently released their white paper, From Rust Belt to Artist Belt, which outlines the assets and challenges that artists and our region bring to each other, and sets the table for community action, rezoning and marketing the arts. Watch the video interview with Mulready at Artefino Cafe in the Tower Press Building where CPAC has their offices.
