On your interview with Jane Campbell:
I'm astounded. Jane Campbell had the opportunity to rehabilitate her image (at least somewhat), but instead she just rambled on and on without any logic and without answering your questions. For example...

Question: What is your reaction to the Defense of Marriage Act passed by the Ohio legislature this week?
Answer: There's no question that the state legislature's totally a detriment to economic development. I have been married for almost 20 years, I'm not threatened by gay people.
My take: What does the Defense of Marriage Act have to do with economic development?! What does Campbell's own marriage have to do with being threatened by gay people?!

Question: Are you interested in participating in [discussions on regional cooperation]?...
Answer: ...We know that when people say where they come from, they say Cleveland. The best ways to make the region strong is to make Cleveland strong. If people want to work with us, that's great.
My take: This is a yes-or-no question, and Campbell answered by rambling about how people are from Cleveland. Was she even listening?

Question: Why do you think the police and fire unions are giving you such a hard time about helping to balance the city budget?
Answer: If you look at the end of the day, both EMS and fire decided to take some personal cuts for the greater good of the city and their colleagues. They saved 20 EMS and 80 fire fighters by cutting uniforms and overtime. Uniform was about $500 a year.
My take: Again, Campbell apparently is unable to understand a simple question. Her response does not address the intransigence of the police union.
