Cleveland has a rich and full history, replete with famous and infamous players. One reason we learn history is to provide pride in the area or topic, and if there is one thing Clevelanders need more of, it's pride.
My family has lived in the Cleveland area for many generations and I am proud of this region's past, current events and future opportunities.

Brittany Brown left behind a full scholarship at another university to study at the Recording Arts & Technology department at Tri-C.
"I left it in the dust."
Brittany discovered her true passion of music, and got a ton of hands-on experience at the new Center for Creative Arts, studying to be an audio engineer and producer. "All hands-on."
Now she's majoring in liberal arts at Cleveland State, while also maintaining a career in rap and as an engineer and producer. "Tri-C taught me to be creative, and to be my own business." Tri-C.edu/alumni

Miss Constance has been a loyal -- if at times a tad cantankerous -- reader of my work for over a decade now, and at age 89 her mind is still as sharp as a razor; indeed, just as sharp as her tongue occasionally is.
She feels that as an octogenarian she's earned the right to say whatever she damn well pleases, which she does -- and I'm not about to disagree with her on that point. We, however, occasionally disagree on others though....

The park is a great opportunity to save a significant portion of this historic structure. The portico is beautiful and includes excellent stone carvings that are too expensive to duplicate in modern buildings. The park could be created relatively inexpensively since the City already owns the site and the existing portico is well preserved....

Hessler Street Fair Features Familiar Music Lineup I wish they'd go back to the more diverse music they used to have. It seems all the same the last 3-4 years or so. A day of reggae???? please. wheres the classical and the avante-garde and... still fun just not as interesting.....
