SPONSORED: Euclid Beach Park Day: All American Fun. Unplug and celebrate old fashioned summer fun at the Cleveland History Center! Experience the nostalgia of Euclid Beach Park with unlimited Grand Carousel rides, Thriller Car rides, crafts, games and more on Sat 7/23 from 10AM-5PM. Reserve your tickets today at WRHS.org.
Here's how you make history relevant: tie into current events (the new show Power & Politics syncs with the Republican National Convention coming to Cleveland- again), get everyone involved with games and contests (scavenger hunt, campaign button making, drawings), and throw in a signature cocktail (how about a Coolidge Cooler?).
The result is History on Tap, and the next one takes place on Thu 8/11 at the Cleveland History Center featuring Andy Billman, the director of "Believeland," the ESPN documentary on the history of Cleveland's storied major league sports franchises. Comeback Cocktail, anyone? Tune in as CoolCleveland speaks with Sloane King-Owen about mixing history with fun for everyone.
