CIM Benefit Features Legendary Songstress

This legend of soul, jazz, pop and folk appears at Severance Hall with the Cleveland Institute of Music Orchestra on Sat 1/26/13 in a 5PM gala benefit event entitled Set The Night To Music, featuring cocktails, silent auction, dinner, premier concert seating, and complimentary parking. 8PM Concert-only tix are also available.

Cool Cleveland spoke with Ms. Flack in an exclusive telephone interview in which they discussed her background as the youngest-ever music student at the prestigious Howard University, the importance of arts education, and how she felt when The Fugees covered her massive hit Killing Me Softly, and updated it for the Hip-Hop generation.
