The Metroparks owned and operated restaurant, located on the East Bank of the Flats, features delicious year-round dinning, with a patio that can't be beat. Sit by the banks of the cuyahoga and watch the boats pass while munching on a pretzel or two.
CoolCleveland met up Merwin's head chef, Nick Lanzo, to get the scoop. The new fall menu will come online in early October, but get your tickets soon for their Clam Bakes on Sat 10/10 & 10/24 before they sell out.
As they ready for a ride, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Operating Officer Joe Roszak updates CoolCleveland's Thomas Mulready on all the latest cool projects they've been busy with: building mountain bike trails, collaborating with regional park systems, organizing the incredible NEOcycle urban cycling festival, and their designation as a Gold Medal Finalist for the National Recreation and Parks Association.
Joining them on the ride are folks from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Bike Cleveland, CAMBA, Ray's MTB, and the City of Medina.

Get your kids outdoors! Join the Cleveland Metroparks’ “Adventure Club” and take part in a different, family-friendly, out door activity every month. Whether it be trips to the zoo, tobogganing, renting paddle boats or doing yoga on the beach, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
CooCleveland met up with the Metroparks’ Shannon Singler at their Adventure Club Cabana Party, which was happening at Edgewater Live. Shannon walked us through the specifics on the club, and we had a blast playing with bubbles, and doing yoga with the kids. Check it out for your family, and get ready for August’s event.

Kick off your weekends right, with the Metroparks' Euclid Beach Live happening every Friday night from 5:30PM - 8:30PM until Fri 8/21 at Euclid Beach Park. The event, similar to the ever popular Edgewater Live, features live music, food trucks, family activities, and corn hole.
CoolCleveland's Marty Bielat met up with Metroparks' Tom Robatin to get the details. Robatin said he loved Euclid Beach Live for its wide variety of cultural music performances, smaller venue, and of course, the beautiful sunsets over looking Lake Erie. There's no better way to celebrate the summer than to be out on the beach at the Metroparks' Edgewater Live! Hosted every Thursday on the sunny shores of Edgewater Park, Edgewater Live brings together local Cleveland food trucks, bands, yoga, volleyball, paddle boarding and so much more!
CoolCleveland Correspondent Marty Bielat went to check out the action last Thursday, and found out why so many were Clevelanders are flocking to the event. "This is what makes Cleveland, Cleveland Ohio," said one enthused patron. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring a smile, and enjoy an evening on the shore.

The family-friendly version of Major League will kick-off the series on Sun 6/21, followed by The Lego Movie on Sun 7/12.
