Adventure-goers of all ages can experience the twin toboggan chutes; plunge down a 70-foot vertical drop and travel along 700-feet of ice while reaching speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.

Don't miss the second annual Cleveland Metroparks & Cleveland Foundation Centennial Trail 5K on Sat 9/14. Enjoy the newest urban trails connecting Cleveland's downtown area neighborhoods. The 5K fun run & walk begins at the trailhead near the Columbus Street bridge along Cuyahoga River's Irishtown Bend and explores parts of the Towpath Trail and the newest section of the Cleveland Foundation Centennial Lake Link Trail. Learn how to use nature to improve your backyard at the Cleveland Metroparks Backyard Nature Bash on Sat 8/17 from noon to 4PM at the Watershed Stewardship Center in West Creek Reservation, 2277 West Ridgewood Drive, Parma.
This free family-fun event, sponsored by ACME Fresh Food Market, features live music, wagon rides, a native plant sale and expert tips on how to install rain gardens that attract pollinators. Interactive nature stations throughout the event offer a chance to get close to butterflies and other native wildlife. Hit the links after dark during Moonlight Golf, one of Cleveland Metroparks most unique summer events where golfers use glow-in-the-dark golf balls along illuminated courses. Featuring 9-holes of illuminated tee boxes, fairways and greens, Moonlight Golf is a family-friendly way to enjoy a warm summer evening.
There’s still time left to take advantage this summer with upcoming dates at Shawnee Hills (8/3), Little Met (9/20) and Mastick Woods (8/9, 8/23). Spots are limited, so reserve your tee time now. Entry includes green fees and a moonlight golf ball. Flashlights are recommended for walking through dark areas.

Learn to fish or show off your skills at the annual Cleveland Metroparks Children's Fishing Derbies Sat 5/18 in Mill Stream Run Reservation & Sun 5/19 at Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation. Trout, catfish and more are ready to lure young anglers to cast and compete for prizes. Children can learn to cast or test their skills at the Casting Challenge.
