VIDEO: Ohio Celebrates Multicultural Tourism Day
CoolCleveland reporter Julie Cajigas attended the Ohio Tourism Division’s celebration of Multicultural Tourism Day at Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium last Saturday, where families were invited to meet with more than 25 Ohio Travel Destinations, hear a great live R&B concert by Britni Elise (http://www.britnielise.com) and enjoy all the fun sights and sounds at the Columbus Zoo. Multicultural Tourism Day celebrated the diverse travelers who enjoy all that Ohio has to offer, and the diverse destinations that make our State such a special place to visit.
"Ohio is an amazingly diverse state, and we want to share that diversity of travel experiences with our multicultural audiences," says State Tourism Director Amir Eylon. From Cincinnati’s Underground Railroad Freedom Center to Columbus’ King Arts Complex and from our own Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to the famous Macy’s Music Festival, there are so many Ohio cultural treasures that Clevelanders should add to their list of summer destinations.
