Doonesberry's Garry Trudeau Coming to Cleveland

Sari Feldman sure knows how to pick 'em. The Cuyahoga County Public Library's awesome Writer's Center Stage series has brought some of the top authors to Cleveland, and this year's series kicks off with one of the most well-read authors of our time. Garry Trudeau is phenomenally popular, publishing his Doonesbury strip in over 1400 newspapers and selling over 7 million collections.

Besides winning the Pulitzer for Doonesbury, Trudeau has also written for Harper's, Rolling Stone and The Washington Post, and his famous comic strip has become an unconventional icon by straddling political satire, social commentary and the adult graphic novel. Watch the video of CCPL's Executive Director, then see Garry Trudeau live in person at the Ohio Theatre, ask him questions and get your book signed on Tue 10/6. Get more details at WritersCenterStage.org.
