The 2008 Chicago Road Trip began with a dip in Lake Michigan at Warren Dunes State Park, directly across the Lake from Chicago. Once we arrived, Gary took us to a Mexican restaurant inside a grocery store, and then Max got busy in Gary's recording studio, laying down all the tracks for his version of Viva La Vida by Coldplay.

The 2008 Chicago Road Trip reached a peak with a fabulous Segway tour of Millennium Park, the Museum campuses, and incredible views of Downtown and the Chicago lakefront. That evening, we were joined by Gary's friend Sherrie and George for some shredding on Guitar Hero, Rock Band and the real thing, an out-of-control drum jam in Gary's recording studio.

The 2008 Chicago Road Trip culminated with a whirlwind tour of Downtown Chicago, accompanied by Gary's friend Sherrie and her son George, with a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art, a walk along Michigan Avenue, a stop at Gino's East for pizza, then a fun-filled evening at Navy Pier.
