"I just wanted to share this with someone who's doing so much to broadcast the happenings in Cleveland."
"I just got back from a trip to Cleveland and I was amazed at how many different things there were to do. For all those people who visit and need inspiration, here's a list of things I was able to do in 8 days:
I went to the opening of the new bike path on the west-side, saw the Charger's Street Gang show at the Grog Shop, open mike night at the Heights Arts Collaborative in Cleveland Heights, toured the new Botanical Garden, walked around the Cain Park Arts Festival, took a picnic to a free concert at the Coventry Peace Arch, saw a great blues band at Dick's Last Resort in the Flats, the West Side Market for fresh produce, Tremont for lunch, Nighttown for dinner, Chagrin Falls for ice cream, Cedar Lee for movies, happy hour at Shooters, Lee Road for their evening stroll, coffee at Prestis in Little Italy, bluegrass music at the Barking Spider, to see the tall ships at the North Coast Harbor, and even fit in a day trip to Cedar Point!"
"I was, as I always am, amazed at the openness of Clevelanders, the diversity of the City, the established trees, the cheap housing, and the number of places to explore. I still have a list of things to do next time I'm home, and am hoping it will just take one more trip to convince my boyfriend to make the move back." From Cool Cleveland reader Lisa Kious
