CC: What it the best thing about Cleveland? The worst thing?
JV: The best thing about Cleveland I think is the fact that there is still an underground scene. The worst thing would be the "drama" involved in that scene.
CC: What does Cleveland have that no other place has?
JV: Big enough to have a wide variety of things to do and places to go but small enough to get around easily and have manageable crowds.
CC: What does Cleveland have to do to make itself indispensable in the 21st Century?
JV: Develop the waterfront with things to attract people from out of town.
CC: What does Cleveland have to stop doing?
JV: Thinking small.
CC: What has been your greatest contribution to this region?
JV: I guess all the work I do with The Mission Boutique putting together the fashion show/parties that they throw.
CC: And here's a couple that are more personal; what do you want to be remembered for when you're gone?
JV: Being a nice, friendly girl.
CC: Cleveland is not a town that celebrates failures, but maybe it should. What was your biggest "failure" and what did you learn from it?
JV: Thinking I can change unhappy people, and coming to terms with the fact that I can't.
CC: Who do you look up to?
JV: I look up to my Mom because she has worked very hard for where she is today. Also my best friend Tiffany Mosher because she is so creative.
CC: Do you have a motto?
JV: No, not really.
CC: What's the best advice you've been offer?
JV: That I can't fix everything.
CC: Where are you most likely to hang out in Cleveland?
JV: The Chamber.
CC: Where are you least likely to hang out?
JV: The Flats.
