Something Dada @ Tower Press Building 10/3 Mastering the art of Improv is an unusual skill. And while thinking quick on your feet is a remarkable talent for all sorts of uses (car jackings, meeting the in-laws for the first time, board meetings), it's tougher when you're on stage with the spotlights, audience and surprise set-up lines bearing down on you. But Cleveland's own Cabaret Dada does it in style with a group that varies from veteran to novice. And similar to the loving couple that's able to finish each other's sentences, they have to. The challenge, of course, is that their material comes from you, the punk audience members - that shout out subjects, characters and situations to perform on demand. And believe it or not, you’re doing it because they’ve asked you to. Dada performs Friday and Saturday nights in the Tower Press building and you can bring large crowds, small crowds, a friend or hot date. They really don't care. Just bring your sense of humor. And the ticket price is really quite reasonable in exchange for the amount of guffaws you'll walk away with (and enjoy there). I recently heard that children, on average, laugh 100 times a day and adults totally screw it up with a mere three. Bring up your average and get your weekly dose of vitamin "L" by checking out Dada this weekend. Also, on October 18th Dada will host their 14th anniversary show – sure to have you rolling on the floor (with your large crowd, small crowd, friend or hot date). Doesn't that sound fun?
