Michael Ruhlman's the guy you go to when you want to talk food. Or cook it. Or eat it.
He's just one of many culinary celebrities appearing at the 7th Annual Fabulous Food Show (FFS), November 9-11, 2012 at the I-X Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Ruhlman talks with Cool Cleveland's Thomas Mulready at the world-famous West Side Market, now celebrating its 100th birthday, as Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson proclaims the week leading up to the FFS as Cleveland Culinary Celebration Week.
Check out Ruhlman's enthusiasm as he ticks off the celebrity chefs he know that will be making special appearances at this year's Fabulous Food Show at the I-X Center: his buddy Michael Symon, Anne Burrell, Sara Molton, and Jacques Pepin, among others.

Victoria Bussert and the Music Theatre program she directs at Baldwin-Wallace University is legendary among agents in New York City. These normally jaded and unimpressed professionals wouldn't think of missing her annual showcase in the city, where her students strut their stuff. Lately, every single graduate has been signed by an agent, an impressive accomplishment.
Now she's mounting the first production of Follies in the Cleveland area in 25 years. She knows because she mounted the last one. Usually considered too large, complicated and challenging for University students, Bussert relishes the opportunity to put her talented students (and a few faculty) on stage. Alumni of the Cleveland Institute of Art's (CIA) College of Art and Design living in Cleveland and Brooklyn, NY, will showcase their work at an upcoming gallery highlighting the diversity of urban-based art colonies.
The exhibit is part of CIA's mission to promote graduated artists, and Bruce Checefsky specifically hopes to showcase the differences in life between the two urban environments.

The Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design is the oldest educational institution in Israel, and its young artists are no different than those studying at our own internationally-recognized institution, The Cleveland Museum of Art. Or are they?
