What's the best way to help? Sometimes it’s just offering a place where the developmentally challenged can come to hang out, join in some group activities, maybe even work a job and earn some pay.

Cool Cleveland talked with Ron Hess, director of adult day support and vocational program at HELP Foundation about the therapeutic group activities they offer, helping to keep people active and engaged. Watch the video here. In the background, you can see the vocational training program Help U Shred, offering training and a wage to those who need assistance.

Though the HELP Foundation, their programs offer assistance to a total of 700 individuals over the past 48 years, with 26 residential locations in 6 counties. Their help is making a difference. HELPfoundationinc.org
