Cool Cleveland's Thomas Mulready needs another gadget like he needs a hole in the head. But he may have found his match with Apple's much-hyped iPhone. While he finds the 8GB memory and battery life lacking, overall he found the iPhone exceeded his sky-high expectations. Why? Not so much the basic phone, iPod, web surfing and mail functions, although those are intuitive and easy to use. It was the less-hyped features tucked into the iPhone's svelte package that blew him away, like live Google maps with directions & live traffic updates, the ear bud microphone, and integrated calendar, contacts & phone.
