Mushrooms blended with burgers can make them more sustainable and more delicious.
The James Beard Foundation has launched a contest with the Mushroom Council and our own Cleveland Independents organization of approximately 90 locally-owned, independent restaurants to create mushroom blended burgers in our region.

They are announcing Cleveland Restaurant Week 2018, taking place March 5-16, 2018. With over 90 restaurants and chefs as members, Cleveland Independents is the largest such group in the country promoting locally owned and operated restaurants.
Over half are participating in this Spring's Cleveland Restaurant Week and offering a special 3-course $33 prix fixe menu or similar.
