Cleveland's Ingenuity Fest is back! For its tenth year in a row now, the innovative festival that combines art and technology will be taking place Fri 9/26 - Sun 9/28 on the North Coast Harbor, in between the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and The Great Lakes Science Center.
CoolCleveland Correspondent Marty Bielat met up with the festival's Director, Paula Grooms, and asked her a couple questions about the event. Paula described some returning performances like the Voix de Ville circus tent and the Tesla Orchestra, in addition to cluing us in on what new is happening.\\\

The biggest fundraiser of the year for Ingenuity Fest? got underway on 05.13.13 at the Halcyon Lodge in Ohio City with a costume ball for the ages.
Celebrating Cleveland’s storied Kokoon Club (1913-1946) at which the region’s artists hosted an annual Bal-Masque and scandalized polite society with nudity and provocation, all Bal Ingenieux visitors arrived either in costume, or were offered a mask.
Electronic fairies, hi-falutin’ jazz ensembles, practically naked dancing men and some cool music and top-flight food & drink helped power the evening.

Danielle Maud' Dib, professional dancer, teacher and purveyor of Neo Burlesque, is in charge of the eclectic and risque entertainment on tap for Bal Ingenieux, the Ingenuity Festival's annual fundraiser, scheduled for Fri 5/3.
Standing in front of the Halcyon Lodge, the Masonic Temple on Franklin Blvd in Ohio City where Bal Ingenieux takes place, Danielle gives us a sneak peek as to what we can expect at this outrageous event based on Cleveland's Kokoon Arts Klub, the Bohemian artist group founded in 1911.
