IngenuityFest 2009 Day One 07.10.09 With The Big Bang opening ceremonies kicking off Ingenuity 2009 on Fri 9/10' right on Star Plaza with hundreds of drummers led my Marcus Santos, belly dancing by Troupe Shabaana, Great Lakes Pipe & Drum Band, and the world-famous Shaw High School Marching Band, you knew it was going to be a good day. The incessant drumming brought the citizens out of their downtown cubicles and onto the street and into the 26 venues featuring cool art, technology and music.
IngenuityFest 2009 VIP party 07.09.09 While everyone else in Cleveland was resting up for the big IngenuityFest weekend 7.10-12.09, VIPs, board members, funders, partners and the media attended a preview party featuring samples of a number of artists performing in this year's Fest: Wheel of Mashup, Opera in the Alley, Big Bang, Lisa Lock, Woy/Ubu [pictured], Mike Geither and others.
