On Mon 2/16 at 2PM, the Maltz Museum celebrates Presidents’ Day by commemorating the 1777 communication between Moses Sexias of the Truro Temple and President George Washington. Costumed actors present the famous correspondence which pronounced "To bigotry, no sanction; to persecution, no assistance." Abe Lincoln makes an appearance to talk about his interactions with the Jewish community, and Lincoln Log- building and cherry pie for all follow the performances.
