With a laser-focused menu and a new quick-service concept for a quick lunch or dinner, MELT Bar and Grilled's Matt Fish serves up his tasty grilled sandwiches at MELT University, his newest location on the campus of Case Western Reserve University in their brand new Tinkham Veale University Center.
Instead of the 20 sandwiches at their other locations, MELT U. will have 10 sandwiches in a grab-and-go format for Case students and University Circle residents and visitors.
What's next? Matt is looking at opening more locations in Columbus, Cincinnati and in the Cleveland/Akron area, and possibly more MELT U. restaurants. Cool Cleveland checked in during his grand opening.

Matt certainly had it right when he said,"It's a food fiesta" when we were enjoying the sandwiches on their patio. In addition to the sandwiches, it was also nice to hear about his new store close to Easton, in Columbus, and to see a new salad/cocktail combo.

Mouth Watering! Matt's "The Good Burger," "Korean BBQ War Pig" and "The Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" looked, smelled, and tasted delicious. In addition to the hummus and arugula, the handmade vegan oat-based patty made "The Good Burger" Marty's new favorite sandwich.
Melt's new store in Columbus was also a hot topic in the interview. The new restaurant, which opened in November, was the first non-Cleveland based restaurant for Matt, and he couldn't have been more excited. See how he answered our questions on the store here.

Melt's new Mentor location is his largest, also fills a void, and has been tremendously popular since its November 2012 grand opening. But it also serves as a model of sorts for future expansion: In 2013, Matt plans to open his first Melt Bar and Grilled in Columbus's smoking hot Short North district.
