Oberlin Conservatory of Music presents Celebrating Milt Hinton on Thu 6/12. The prolific jazz artist's 70-year career will be remembered with a special collections tour, the film, Keeping Time: The Life, Music and Photographs of Milt Hinton, and an evening concert featuring classical to jazz performances by some of the most respected names in the bass world.

On display will be Hinton's notable photographs documenting the golden age of American jazz, and Oberlin's new exhibit of Hinton's artifacts and records. All events are free and open to the public. Oberlin.edu
