This is our last best chance to strengthen the arts and culture industry in Cuyahoga County. With world-class arts like the Cleveland Orchestra and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it's bitterly ironic that Cleveland is the largest city in the US that doesn't yet have public funding for the arts. On election day, Tue 11/7, you can vote on Issue 18, which would raise $20 million a year for 10 years for non-profit arts groups. Chloë Hopson is out to change the world. And by all accounts, she's doing it. Her Passport Project wants to build community and diversity and a rejection of racism through the arts. Their performances, classes and workshops are legendary for their artistic quality and inclusivity. The 2nd annual Gongtopia Sun 10/22 thru 25 showcases Michael Bettine's Concert of Original Gong Music played on over 50 gongs.
