The Lakewood Project puts on a thrilling show whether it's for the 2000-capacity Lakewood Civic Auditorium [as shown in this video on 05.16.09], or in Lakewood Park for their annual Fourth of July fireworks concert for 20,000. Using innovative electric shoulder-mounted Viper violins, violas and cellos introduced to the band by Mark Wood of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, with a full rock band and complete string orchestra, The Lakewood Project is made up only of students currently enrolled at Lakewood High School.
