The Lakewood Project puts on a thrilling show whether it's for the 2000-capacity Lakewood Civic Auditorium [as shown in this video on 05.16.09], or in Lakewood Park for their annual Fourth of July fireworks concert for 20,000. Using innovative electric shoulder-mounted Viper violins, violas and cellos introduced to the band by Mark Wood of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, with a full rock band and complete string orchestra, The Lakewood Project is made up only of students currently enrolled at Lakewood High School. This hastily made video was shot, edited and posted within two hours of their concert, and only hints at the excitement this ensemble generates at their live events.
