They were looking to build a rather large privacy fence that was attractive, low maintenance, affordable and 8 feet high by 150 feet long.
Wigle came up with a creative solution that was less-toxic than pressure treated wood, that minimized waste and that allowed his family to "go green" for a fraction of the price...

Think of the map of where you live. Does it go all the way across Northeast Ohio? Does it include Akron? Youngstown? Pittsburgh? Hunter Morrison, former Planning Director for the City of Cleveland and now at YSU, uses "mental maps" to think broadly about where exactly we live.
Watch the video and hear how new mental maps define our "Tech Belt" from NEO to Eastern PA, & compete in the 21st Century with 20 other "megapolitan areas" such as the "Florida Corridor" (Tampa to Orlando) or the "Greater Metroplex" (Dallas, Ft. Worth to OK City).
Driving this point home, the Regional Learning Network, a collaboration between Cleveland, Youngstown and Pittsburgh is hosting, "Rebuilding The Cities That Built America," on Fri 5/21 at 9AM in Youngstown. Register. Read about the Tech Belt here.
A gearhead's dream, a muscle car lover's oasis in Northeast Ohio. There's a relatively unknown tourist attraction in Mentor that should have car enthusiasts flocking to its 60,000-square-foot showroom in droves.
The name of the venue is the Mentor Museum of Speed, and its Marketing Director Rick Iacoboni believes it's the best-kept secret in town.
"The Mentor Museum of Speed is one of the largest, if not the largest, public collection of classic cars in the country," Iacoboni said. "The world has a fascination with classic cars because they represent, really, the best of times in America. Post-WWII, that's when everything was made to last. The houses were made to last, the cars. Now we're such a disposable world, that quality has just gone awry. And that's why people really cling to these cars..."

On Mon 5/24 at 7PM, hear fresh batches of writing–-many of which will be read aloud for the first time–-from five local writers at May’s Fine Tuning program.

Back in 2003, when LeBron James first came into the NBA, I, in a column entitled "King James and his Court," attempted to caution Cavs fans (you do know the word "fan" is shorthand for "fanatic") against placing too big a burden on the shoulders of a then 18-year-old -- albeit a very mature one.
But so desperate and needy were we Clevelanders ... and so talented and gifted was he, an amazing mature man-child ... I knew that my admonitions, no matter how well articulated, would fall on deft ears.
LeBron was going to be our -- Greater Cleveland's -- Savior... whether he was equipped to handle the task or not...
