Amazing Maize Valley

Located on 619 just West of Rt. 44 in Marlboro (East of Hartville) is a farm run by the same family for over 100 yrs. Their winery is quite impressive as is the service, and food. With so much to offer in a friendly atmosphere, we found ourselves feeling very welcome when Ohio's (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tribute band) three piece "acoustic" version was invited to play out on the large patio last week.

Band member Woody James plays there regularly and is the

"Neil Young" of Ohio. Steve Sanders is "David Crosby" and Jeff Fulkman plays Graham Nash. The beautiful music with the country setting reminded me of the "Woodstock 40th Anniversary we had just returned from. There is music regularly scheduled of various styles. Up on the hill were sheep, goats, horses and cows, with the sunset behind them they glowed.

Some of the family, all still hard at work took a moment here and there to tell us there were photographs in the dining room inside showing the family back into the 1800's. A very fun description of upcoming events made us laugh at the prospect of pumpkins being shot from a "cannon" & using a cell phone to find one's way out of the very large corn maze. Add cider and the array of delightful offerings inside and it sounded irresistible. For more info call 330-877-8344

Family fun at it's finest. Highly recommended by me bbryant!
