Over 400 guests were saturated with art and music on 98th and Detroit. A colored, multi-sensory fantasia washed over everyone as they witnessed dance, music, poetry, video/film projections, painting and performance art. And, just what were those two girls doing on that ladder, anyway? Not being seen was near impossible, unless you hid behind the artists recording the event in its purest, most immediate form. Unlike conventional art events, guests were not merely patrons, but became part of the art. Were you part of the action? Find out 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 6 and Friday June 20 at groop multi-media experimental gallery. As part of the Art Cade 530? and the June 20th installment for Sparx in the City, groop will continue their project by presenting the documentation of Formation. See what happened that evening through the images captured by the photographers and videographers who attended. Groop members Mike Moritz and Abe Olvido invite you to participate once again. Right now you can see if you were caught in the act by checking out some of the Formation photos at http://moveartaudience.org Submitted by Cool Cleveland reader Charlene Coates charlene@moveartaudience.org (:divend:)
