TiE Event @ House of Blues 12/8 As Lt. Governor Lee Fisher announced at the TiE event last week, a crisis is a terrible thing to waste. And with the lackluster economy and bailouts abound, there couldn't be a better time to introduce a network-based organization like TiE to help Cleveland move ahead. Cleveland is home to the newest chapter of TiE, or The Indus Entrepreneurs, a trade group that represents many of the people driving the new economy.

The question is: Will this prestigious trademark stoke new energy and jobs? The TiE Mission is to foster conscious entrepreneurship globally by educating, mentoring and networking. Founded 15 years ago in Silicon Valley, TiE gatherings become the place for people to meet and mentor one another. TiE was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals. They founded companies like Sun Microsystems and Hotmail.

Last week at the House of Blues, the launch proved quite successful with over 300 people in attendance. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs. We’re interested.
