Women of Excellence @ Executive Caterers 3/12 Three professional women were honored at the Executive Caterers' Women of Excellence event to a packed house. Those honored include Sari Feldman, Executive Director of the Cuyahoga County Public Library; April Miller Boise, Partner-in-Charge at Thomson Hine, and Tina Hamrick, president of NAWBO-Cleveland and Partner at SJK Beringer Group. It was moderated by Dee Perry, Host and Senior Producer of 90.3 WCPN ideastream.

Those honored were asked questions regarding their career philosophies and the importance of balancing work and family. These women shared their challenges as wives, mothers and professionals, proving they are true trailblazers who often find “rewriting the rules” a necessary part of the game.

The honorees recognized that if they hadn’t found people to believe in them, such as mentors, clients and their families, they wouldn’t be where they are today. Working hard and being smart is important, but so it developing good relationships along the way.

When asked about the rewards of their hard work, helping others was paramount. Giving to their church, communities, colleagues or family was key, but so was watching other women thrive.
