Wood-Lee
Wood-Lee International Art Handlers are often called in to do the impossible. In this case, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History needed to have their taxidermy mount of an African elephant head removed from the Museum (de-installation), and placed into storage.
Here, in their own words, Woody Melton and Lisa Holly (brother and sister), describe how they used all their knowledge, experience and skills to get the Elephant Head off the wall, on to a cart, and out of the Museum. Wood-Lee.com.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has been using Wood-Lee International Art Handlers for more than 20 years, since before the Hall was even built.
Listen to Andy Leach, Senior Director of the Rock Hall's Library & Archives as he describes working with Wood-Lee to pack, store, move and take care of fragile and rare books, papers, photos, art objects and artifacts, just like institutions such as the Cleveland Orchestra and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.
