Tomorrow, You can Make a Difference by Voting for Issue 3. Issue 3 is an 8 mill property tax levy for Cleveland’s kids that will do 3 things: help Cleveland’s kids become job ready by bringing 100 teachers, textbooks, and technology back to our classrooms; making schools and surrounding neighborhoods safer by reopening alternative schools for disruptive students; and supporting sports and after school activities that help keep kids engaged in their education. On Tuesday, August 2nd, your vote will count more than ever. Tomorrow's election will have very low voter turnout because it is a special election – with no other candidate or issue on the ballot to bring out voters. Because so few voters will go to the polls, your vote could make the difference. Tomorrow, whether you have children in our schools or not, you can make a difference for Cleveland. By voting and encouraging your friends to vote for Issue 3, you can help improve Cleveland’s economy and make our city safer.
