Rock Halls Opens Bob Dylan Exhibit Few figures in the history of American popular music have reached the status of Bob Dylan, and the Rock Hall is paying tribute to him with an exhibit curated by the Experience Music Project. The exhibit, "Bob Dylan’s American Journey: 1956-66," opens Sat 5/20 and features more than 150 artifacts, including Dylan’s 1949 Martin 00-19 guitar, typed and handwritten lyrics, rare concert posters and much more. At the center of the exhibit are four films exploring different facets of Dylan’s career.
