WCLVnotes What does a radio station that carries the Metropolitan Opera on Saturday afternoon do when the Met season is over? Well, this Saturday at 1:30 PM, WCLV 104.9 FM will present the first of three concerts featuring the Staatskapelle Berlin conducted by Daniel Barenboim. These are all Schumann concerts – the four symphonies, overtures, the Piano Concerto etc. For something completely different, this week’s Weekend Radio (Saturday at 10:00 PM and Sunday at 7:00 PM on WCLV; Sunday at 8:00 PM on WRMR) will be devoted to cats, including the “back alley opera” Archy and Mehitable and Rossini’s Cat Duet as sung by Dr. Evadne Hinge and Dame Hilda Bracket. Not to be missed. a Cool Cleveland partner www.wclv.com
